Thanks, it’s certainly one of my favorite pastimes on the island! Though I’ve heard of it, I never made it to Ranulfo’s. Have you tried La Revancha yet? We always meet new friends there and usually have to politely ask them to stop bringing food 🙂

I agree with the choice of El Gato Negro and Mangalitos. They are also my favourites. We came across a poster in one bar (I think it may have been Los Tamarindos) entitled “Cozumel Island Bars and Cantinas tour”. It’s a map showing all the camtinas in San Miguel. I took a photo. It’s a very useful guide.
p.s. It looks like Ranulfo’s on 10th Is permanently closed
